Plus, running your own key management system isn’t lightweight, it requires specialized personnel, ongoing governance, and architecture designed for compliance.

You’ll need to understand which systems truly require full isolation, and which can still benefit from cloud-native agility. This is about precision and resource discipline, not blanket adoption.
