You can choose to see any kind of image, only human-made, or just AI. The interface is clean. It draws signals from known AI-heavy content sources and adjusts visibility accordingly.

This filtering shift isn’t just feature polish, it’s fundamental. It acknowledges the surge of AI content online and gives power back to the user. Deezer is more transparent. The company tracks AI-generated music directly. By spring 2025, it reported more than 20,000 new AI-only tracks daily. That’s over 18% of all new content. On Spotify, AI content is still under 1%, but it’s clearly rising. Companies must ask themselves: how will they protect real artists? Because with no technical gatekeeping and endless generative capacity, AI will continue flooding the pipeline.

Streaming platforms need new tools, not just detection, but publishing verification systems. Listeners may tolerate a few synthetic tracks. They won’t tolerate an environment where they don’t know what’s real. Artists, rights holders, and audiences will demand transparency, and platforms that fail to deliver will lose trust and influence.
